DAY 6 LIBERTY OF THE SEAS

After hours of problems trying to connect I finally am on and will now post yesterdays activities.

My internal alarm went off at 8 AM again today (even though we went to sleep at 2:30) as it has every morning since getting on the ship. We weren't even in Cozumel yet but could see land far off in the distance. Went up for breakfast about 9:30 and then got off to go shopping at the end of the pier. It was very hot but not as bad as last trip. Couldn't wait to get back to the ship. We shopped about 1/2 hour and when we got back the gang were already sitting by our chairs. They had decided not to get off and I think it was a good idea.Did the normal routine of reading (finished book #2) and sleeping after I got in the shower to cool off. We went for lunch with Royce and Joel (Gail & Dennis were sleeping) and I'm now in the room updating the blog.

Joy, you're out of luck with cigarettes. No one has Kools and the only Winston were regular. Tonight they had a sale on the Promenade deck of $10 items from watches to mens ties so I made a donation to the ships fund and had fun doing it.

Then everyone but Joel went to the concierge lounge and tonight the bartenders got cassis to make us Kir Royale and they were delicious. I can't say enough about Oana and the bar staff up there. They have great memories and they remember what everyone drinks.Dinner wasn't great. In fact Dennis ordered from the kids menu in order to get something he would enjoy. Carol and I went to the Quest and even though James (the CD) is good and he asked for different things than ever before there was something seriously lacking tonight. I didn't even lose my voice from laughing. I'm sure a lot of you are disappointed about that. I might not have lost my voice but I did lose my money in the casino.

Tomorrow is our last full day on the ship and Carol and I have a galley tour at 4 PM which I'm looking forward to.
