ENCHANTMENT DAY 3

ENCHANTMENT DAY 3
Well if I thought it was hot in Key West there aren't words to tell you how hot it is in Cozumel. I've decided I bertrer be a good girl because I certainly don't want to go to Hell. I think I'm there today and I don't like it. Cynthia, Reva, Alice, Lenore and myself got off this morning to take a cab into town. By the time we hit the stores at the end of the pier the heat and humidity changed all our minds. I showed the girls where the tee shirt place that I always go to was and we all made a few purchases. I got a free bag that looks like a duffel and it will be perfect for theovernight in Egypt. The dining room is closed for lunch so we went to the Windjammer and once again I was disappointed. The buffet for this cruise has been awful and I will put that in the comment card. Tonight is another production show and I'll let you know how it was later on. I've already seen it but we all know there is memory needed and girl has very little. I went to the concierge tonight and Beth joined me there. They had a crazy mix of appetizers and I questioned something that was wrapped in bacon and the concierge did not know what it was so I volunteered to try it. I took a small bite and felt a pit so I thought it was a cherry. Weird right? After the second bite I was amazed to find out it was a prune. Now that's really really weird. We got in the elevator and started to talk to a couple that was waiting with us. The husband asked where we came from and I told him Boynton Beach and he said he was there a week ago visiting a friend that lived in Platina. I told him it was a block from me and he started to kibitz that he didn't see me. I told him he was with his wife so I hid from them, and we all laughed. While we were waiting for the dining room doors to open he asked where I'm originally from and I said, "Brooklyn, is there any other place?" His wife said she was from Brooklyn and what part did I live in. I told her Marine Park and she said when they got married they moved to Marine Park to a co-op on (are you ready for this) on Burnett Street. Beth asked if it was 2220 and she said yes. For those of you that do not know, that is where I lived for about 50 years. She lived in Apt 4A and I lived in 5G. We were hysterical laughing. I was totally blown away by that. The dinner menu didn't turn me on so the maitre de suggested an appetizer, a soup and we both came up with a caesar salad with chicken tenders on top. Dinner was okay, not great but I'll agree to okay. After dinner we all (except Beth) went to see the show "Stage to Music" which I've seen many times. After that they had the Love and Marriage game show which was good but not as funny as others. Then I went to the casino and lost $40 but had fun anyway.More to come on the morrow.
